After gaining experience in the Triple-A industry, I decided to make the jump to indie, as I've always wanted, and founded Bold Spirit Game Studio. Red Trigger 2 is the direct sequel to the first, and will be much ambitious, around 10 times bigger.  While the first game had a focus on gameplay, Red Trigger 2 adds an additional focus, which is storytelling. The game will be fully voice-acted and has mental health as its primary theme. Each biome is themed around a specific mental suffering, such as the famous FOMO, psychosis, guilt, and more.

Development sadly had to be halted after 2 years due to lack of funding.

- Creative Director, and touching every role in a game's production as well (Level Design, Level Art, Writing, Marketing, Management, Community, etc...)

Red Trigger Remake

Red Trigger Remake

In January 2023, I have paused development on Red Trigger 2 to remake the first Red Trigger from the ground up, with a full team this time, instead of just me (in 2016). The goal was to reignite interest in the series and also prove to publishers that our team could ship and that I had the skills to lead the team. We also added voice acting and many game mechanics to have a smooth transition between the first game and its sequel. The remake shipped in August 2023.
 
Roles :
I've touched everything from creative direction, art, animation, writing, administration, recruitment, formation, marketing and more. I have guided the team through a clear vision and worked hand in hand with every member of the team to make sure they could express their creativity as freely as possible. I've written the texts and dialogues with our writer and directed the voice actors during the recording sessions.

My main mandate was the whole ending of the game in Norway, but I also worked on the beginning and made a lot of world events. In conception, I came up with and prototyped a bunch of gameplay ingredients you see in the game. I also thought of and made the first prototype of big scale investigation, which led to the Grantebridgescire arc.

My main mandate was to be in charge of many side quests in Alexandria, but I quickly impressed my superiors and was very efficient, so I inherited some other side quests to help some peers that were having difficulty with their workload. I was then given a main quest, which was unusual for a junior and a great mark of trust. Later, I also took charge of a special side quest which was a collaboration with Square Enix. I also debugged for a bit more than a month the side quests in the Yamu Territory, which are not included in this page.

Red Trigger (2016 Student Version)

Red Trigger (2016)

Final project made for the end of my bachelor's degree at NAD university. Red Trigger is a First Person Shooter (FPS) puzzle game. The whole game was made by me, in 15 weeks. Generally, players beat the game in 40 minutes.
 
The player shoots red blocks to make them expand or retract, and use them in many ways to progress.
